# Quickstart

> From sign-up to your first trade in about a minute.

**1. Sign in**

Open [shroud.trade](https://shroud.trade) and sign in with an email code, Google or Phantom. A Solana wallet is created for you.

**2. Back up your recovery phrase**

Onboarding shows a 12-word phrase. Write it down: it restores every wallet Shroud creates for you. Reopen it any time from **Settings → Account → Recovery**.

**3. Fund a wallet**

Click the wallet pill in the top right, then **Deposit**, and send SOL to the address shown. See [Funding](https://docs.shroud.trade/funding.md).

**4. Trade or launch**

Buy from a [Scope](https://docs.shroud.trade/scope.md) row, paste an address into search (<kbd>Cmd</kbd>/<kbd>Ctrl</kbd> + <kbd>K</kbd>), or open **Create** to [launch a coin](https://docs.shroud.trade/create.md). Your holdings and P\&L live on [Portfolio](https://docs.shroud.trade/dashboard.md).
