# Automation

> Reflex tasks and orders that run 24/7.

Automation runs on Shroud's servers around the clock. Close the tab and your rules keep watching and fire the moment they match.

> Automation needs **server signing** on the wallet it uses. Creating a task on a wallet turns it on for that wallet; revoke it any time from **Settings → Account → Trusted wallets**. See [Wallets](https://docs.shroud.trade/wallets.md#server-signing).

Every task reads as one sentence.

## Reflex tasks

A task is a standing order: when this happens, do that, instantly.

| Task | What it does |
| - | - |
| Launch | Buys new coins that match your rules the moment they appear, or when they migrate |
| Copy | Mirrors a wallet's buys and sells, sized your way |
| Social | Buys or sells when an account you track posts |
| Claim | Buys a coin when its creator claims fees |
| Deploy | Launches a Pump.fun coin you prepared the moment a trigger fires |

**Launch** matches on dev wallet, name, ticker or address on Pump.fun, Bonk, Bonkers and LaunchLab, filtered by quote, blocked words and the dev's track record. **Copy** takes a fixed size, their size or a percentage of it, and can copy their sells in proportion or in full; it only ever sells what it bought. **Social** reads posts, replies, quotes, deletes, pins and follows on X, Instagram and Truth Social. **Deploy** fires when an X account posts or a creator claims fees.

### Every task

* **Frozen settings**: size, slippage, priority fee and tip are fixed per task.
* **Exit plan**: up to six legs of take profit, stop loss, trailing stop, sell after a time, sell when the dev sells or the creator claims.
* **Limits**: max fires, a start time and an expiry.
* **Pause** without losing the setup. Up to 50 active tasks.

### Fires

Every fire is logged with why it triggered, the coin, the transaction and whether it landed. Fires raise a toast and a sound, and can go to Discord from [Alerts](https://docs.shroud.trade/alerts.md).

The **Reflex** button in the bottom bar opens your tasks and fires in a floating window, with pause and a quick way to add a task.

## Orders

Limit, grid, DCA and auto orders live on the coin page. They run on the same servers and follow the same signing rule. See [Trade → Orders](https://docs.shroud.trade/trade.md#orders). Up to 100 active limit orders and 100 active auto orders at a time.
