# Your account

> Sign in, back up, and keep control.

One account carries your wallets, positions, orders, watchlist and settings on every device.

| Method | Notes |
| - | - |
| Email code | A one-time code, nothing to remember |
| Google | One click |
| Phantom | Use a Solana wallet you already own |
| Email + password | Optional. Add it from **Settings → Account → Sign-in** |

Add more than one method so you always have a way back in. Forgot your password? The email code resets it.

> [!NOTE]
>
> There is no seed phrase to type at sign-in and nothing to install. Wallet keys are secured by [Turnkey](https://turnkey.com) and sign on your device. See [Safety](https://docs.shroud.trade/safety.md).

## Recovery phrase

One 12-word phrase backs your whole account: your first wallet and every wallet you create later.

**1. Back it up**

Onboarding asks you to reveal it and confirm you wrote it down. Later, find it under **Settings → Account → Recovery**.

**2. Restore it anywhere**

Phantom and other wallets import it directly. You never need Shroud to reach your funds.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Wallets you imported as a private key, and vanity wallets, are not covered by the phrase. Back those up with key export in [Portfolio → Wallets](https://docs.shroud.trade/wallets.md). Wallets Shroud holds for [launch plans](https://docs.shroud.trade/create.md#launch-plans) are not covered either: sweep their SOL back when a launch ends.

## Username

Your username is how Shroud shows you, and it is also your referral code. Change it from **Settings → Account → Profile**.

## Trusted wallets

**Settings → Account → Trusted wallets** lists every wallet Shroud can sign with, each with a one-click **Revoke**. Wallets whose only key Shroud holds, such as launch plan wallets, show **Only key** instead. See [Wallets → Server signing](https://docs.shroud.trade/wallets.md#server-signing).

## Two-factor and devices

**Settings → Security** adds an authenticator app with backup codes, and lists your signed-in devices so you can sign one out, or every device but this one. With two-factor on, withdrawals and key export ask for a code.

## Deleting a wallet

Rows in **Portfolio → Wallets** offer **Archive** (hide it) and **Delete** (permanent, typed confirmation). Deleting removes the wallet from Shroud. Your funds stay on-chain.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Export a wallet's key before you delete it. Afterwards the exported key is the only way back to that address.
